Costs Draftsman
Our Client is a leading firm in legal spend management delivering an unrivalled service to its clients; combining experience and expertise to achieve the best results. Our Client has a reputation for nurturing talent and fostering a culture of team work resulting in a high staff retention rate. Due to continued growth and expansion our Client is looking to recruit an experienced advocate to join its Costs Budgeting team.
Key Responsibilities
- Attending Costs and Case Management Conferences throughout the country
- Drafting technical pleadings
- Advising clients and instructing solicitors
- Proficient and assertive telephone based negotiator
- Managing a caseload of high value claims
- Business development
- Achieving targets
Key Requirements
- Advocacy experience.
- Background in civil litigation.
- Ability to travel when attending hearings.
- Defendant experience is ideal. However Claimant candidates will be considered
- Good technical knowledge.
- Clinical Negligence experience preferred.
- Ability to handle a challenging file load.
